Mr H Highland Manso 363/0
Sire: Mr V8 756/7
Dam: Lady H Mystic Manso 151/0
When you drive the pastures at Heritage Cattle Company, one thing you will notice is that we prefer medium sized cattle. The majority of our herd bulls are between 2,200 to 2,400 pounds. Our mature cows average 1,300 to 1,500 pounds. To keep our cattle at this frame size, occassionally we incorporate larger genetics. We are excited about this young sire for just that. Mr H Highland Manso 363/0 is one of our all-time high performing bulls. This young bull is sired by Mr. V8 756/7 “Megastroke”, who is a son of the Reserve International Champion +Mr. V8 777/4 “Powerstoke” and +Miss V8 410/6, who produced 2 two herd sires and a Reserve National Champion Female. The dam to Highland is a many time show winner and one of our donors ,Lady H Mystic 151/0, who is the result of two Register of Renown parents +Mr H Maddox Manso 684 and +Lady H Fanci Manso 652. As you might expect due to his superior actual growth, Highland ranks in the top ¼ of the breed for Growth, ½ for Ribeye Area EPD, and 4% for Marbling. We will use this sire as an outcross to many of our traditional lines and to breed to some of our smaller framed females for added growth and performance.
